know how to put on a great weekend. The Sanyo blimp hovered right above
Mac Ray's as a few of us were leaving...
The weather was perfect, warm and sunny the whole weekend. The lake was great for boating as we crossed over Lake St. Clair to The Cove Marina in Canada. Docktails. appetizers, and friends awaited us about 7pm Friday along with a roaring fire later that night. Saturday morning was breakfast of champions....Captain Morgan pancakes, sausage, eggs, and beverages. The kids and adults enjoyed the playground, the mini golf, fishing, and the pool that day, while some folks ventured out on dinghy rides on the river and lake. Later Saturday we all went to Spooters for a chicken dinner and then on to the Casino night. While some lost their money quickly, others made quite a haul and were awarded gift certificates from Mac Ray's for gas as well as door prizes for various boats. Another roaring fire later that night with great conversation was enjoyed by many that night.... Sunday morning was a time for goodbyes, but not for long, as most people enjoyed the day at Mac Ray's when they returned. It was a beautiful weekend. Thanks Suzzy and Dave.... |
