Port Huron Cruise
2007
| Our first official cruise
of the year was hosted by Jim and Jana Avenius along with Dave and
Carole Scharnweber. We began Friday evening with docktails and
appetizers and great fellowship. The weather was great, albeit a not so
fun wind as we all entered the Black River. Sun was plentiful,
however.
Saturday morning after breakfast of donuts, muffins, bagels and coffee, some folks ventured into town to check out the stores and river area, while others relaxed at the docks. Later, a few took lazy rides down the river, while others caught up on their knitting. Dinner was held at Rum Runnerz. We had a family style dinner of roast beef, chicken, and pasta. A great time was had by all. A few continued the party at their boats with a bit of line dancing! Sunday morning we awoke to great weather for our return trip down the river, back to Mac Ray's. A great success all in all! |
