Dinner at J. Balwins

Over 40 people got together for dinner and good times at J. Baldwin’s Restaurant on Saturday night October 27th. Unfortunately, the inclement weather forced the cancellation of the Halloween Family Fun event earlier in the day. Starting at 7:00, members filed in and enjoyed cocktails and conversation before ordering off the menu of this great dining establishment.
Most members’ boats were now out of the water, so talk centered on shrink wrap, coping with boating withdrawal, and reflections of the fantastic 2007 season the Club had. After dinner, everyone was treated to a round of J. Baldwin’s’ infamous Bumpy Cake (Happy Birthday to many). Even after plenty of that mouth watering food, how’s that saying go? ..… “There’s always room for bumpy Cake!”
This was the second time for a dinner get together here, and judging by the participation and fantastic time, it should be an annual event for years to come
